The owner
After completing University degrees in The Fine Arts and Education, Adam Jones arranged to build his cultural appreciation and world knowledge by spending a number of years teaching English in various countries throughout Asia. During those years he fell in love with the Japanese culture, particularly the art of bonsai. After completing a five-year apprenticeship at one of the most renowned bonsai gardens in Japan, Mansei-En, located in the Omiya Bonsai-cho, Adam received certification as a bonsai professional from the Nippon Bonsai Association.

The house
The gardens of Tree House Bonsai are centered around the traditional architecture of the main living quarters. The calming and subdued natural beauty of this environment is a true source of inspiration for all visitors. Utilizing the experience of over a decade of classroom education and the skills gained during his time at Mansei-En, Adam and Tree House Bonsai are excited to offer a range of tutorials, workshops, and classes for visitors to build their knowledge of all aspects of the art of bonsai.
